For blind users

Written by a player, Fury, who requested that I upload it. Chiyo 01:55, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

In the exciting world of hellmoo there are many types of players with many different characteristics. In this article we will focus on the blind player experience because in hellmoo, nobody is left out.

The amount of visually impaired individuals who play hellmoo is surprising given the map, colors, etc.

These are just a few tips put together by the blind players of hellmoo to help you have a better playing experience.

1. A popular screen-reading program is Jaws for Windows which can be found at http://www.freedomscientific.com. A trial version is available so you can try before you buy. You can read more about this product at their website.

2. The client used by most blind players is called mushclient which can be found at http://www.gammon.com.au/

The creators of this program have also written some scripts that allow the program to interact with jaws, and with some minor configuration they work the best.

Another client used by blind players is called MonkeyTerm, but this program is no longer updated and hard to find. It also takes way too much work to use unlike mushclient which is pretty much straight forward.
